At last new Calliseum and BroadsWord versions have been tested and released, most of changes are optimizations and fixed bugs.

Calliseum has received MS SQL support of all versions since MS SQL 2000. From now on Calliseum can use two independent databases - under Firebird Server 2.5 and MS SQL. MS SQL Server works a little bit faster (10% on two core processors) and maybe more reliable and has more security features.

Most of changes in the current development are applied to fax server ArtiFax. Windows Vista (32 bit) and Windows 7 (32 bit) are now supported operational systems. The main problem was in ArtiFax printer driver and Conversion server which did not work on these OSs.

Support of Windows user groups are added including not only "Administrators" as before, but "Power Users" and "Users" as well. Administrator installs a client distributive on a user's PC and then the User can work with the system under his own account.

To make Calliseum system more reliable and comfortable to configure all client programs (User-agent, Conference-client and remote Administrator) do not connect to the server database directly but only through Network gate.

Fax server has received full support of PDF format - not only for incoming faxes but for outgoing faxes too.

A new security feature has been added to Calliseum. There is now a new standard user - Supervisor and supervising mode feature. If this mode is on then for users all incoming and/or outgoing messages must receive authentication from Supervisor or Administrator. Until this was made an unauthenticated message is either unavailable (if incoming) or cannot be sent (if outgoing).
