Brooktrout boards

Brooktrout fax boards (cards) are professional fax boards for fax servers. They are the most expensive and quality boards in the market. They have got GammaLink quality of faxes and voice capabilities of Dialogic. They differ by the type and number of on-board resources and speed of fax transmission. But all of them have DSPs for easy fax handling and support all standard fax image formats and compression methods. Boards of TR114 series are universal boards with identical amount of voice and facsimile resources. Now this series of boards is considered out-of-date, as on replacement to it TR1034 series, which is characterized by the raised speed of fax transfer (V.34 - 33600 kBit/sec), has been issued. For small systems it is possible to use boards of TruFax series and TR1000 series. Boards of these series have got different number of voice and facsimile resources. Boards of TruFax series do not have voice resources at all, and in boards of TR1000 series the number of fax resources is reduced in comparison with the number of voice resources. TR1000 boards also support audioconferencing API with the number of active participants up to 100 and monitors - up to 3000.
