Sending faxes via printer driver
The process of sending fax via printer driver is very simple.
User installs the virtual artifax printer on his workstation and
then he can "print" any document from any application to a required
fax number or E-mail. Printer driver runs under any
Windows operational system (Windows 95,98, Millenium, NT, 2000, XP).
Virtual driver fax printer dialog
During printing a document to the virtual fax printer
user should set the list of phone/fax numbers - fax receivers,
fax sending mode (one page or multi-page document), priority,
desired time and then presses "Send" button.
As a fax receiver the user can choose not only fax numbers but e-mail addresses
(in this case fax in graphic TIFF file format will be sent to these e-mails)
or extensions of other fax server users (in this case the fax will be placed
directly to the fax mailbox of these users).
For convenient job in printer driver there are such facilities as address book and history of the last dialed numbers.
Address book in printer driver
Before sending faxes the user can make his own personal cover
page files (one text and one image file) which are automatically
attached at the beginning of each sending fax. Also he can use
a personal voice file which is played for the recipient right
before the fax sending. It can sound like: "Hello, this is
fax from John Smith for Arthur Clark, please press Start button".

Further driver automatically transfers fax via TCP/IP protocol
to the network gate of ArtiFax server, which places the fax
to its queue and sends it over the fax board at the desired time.
After the indicated number of retries fax
server sends notification to the user with the result of the last retry
and some additional information. So fax server can be used as a
fax broadcaster for broadcasting faxes.
Sending faxes via E-mail
For sending faxes one can use any Email client (Outlook, TheBat etc.).
This gives a user the possibility to send any document (Word, Excel, Acrobat),
graphics or text file to fax machines, to deliver voice and text messages (using Text-To-Speech technology)
to the phones, to send text messages as SMS to mobile phones.

in The Bat!
In this case the message should be sent to the known E-mail address of the fax server,
in the field "To" it should be indicated the list of the phone/fax numbers with the prefixes for
the correct action of the fax server after dialing: to send fax, to play voice file or to send SMS message.
