ArtiFax is the first universal fax server working both with the pure fax
boards GammaLink CPi, integrated voice+fax Brooktrout of TR1034 and TR1000 series and with the Dialogic boards of VFX, BRI/2VFD, DMF, DM/VF series (you can find brief description of ArtiFax on site here).
ArtiFax has full integration with all mail systems such as: Microsoft Mail 3.x,
MS Exchange, Lotus Notes, GroupWise etc.
On the server itself it is desirable to have mail system
supporting MAPI for sending notifications to users.
But it is not necessary - data exchange between server and client PC
is conducted through the TCP/IP protocol directly.
ArtiFax like any other client-server applications has two main parts
